Nice find on a snowy morning for brunch. Service was excellent and welcoming. Food was very good. Lots of choices. Filled us up for the long drive home.

My wife and I were in the area and wanted to visit a nonchain restaurant for breakfast. We arrived at the Original Breakfast Place around 8AM on a Sunday. We were promptly seated. I ordered Terri's Big Breakfast with sausage, home fries, Italian toast and pancakes (see picture). I wish the home fries were homemade but everything was delicious so I didn't feel it was worth losing a star. My wife had the eggs and hash. We both enjoyed our meals. Very inexpensive overall, good service, and a tasty breakfast. I would definitely recommend and return!

In Erie for a few days to decompress and chase Steelhead , the other place has been my go to but to be honest they were closed both days I was in town and I found the Original by defacto .. I travel fir a living and this place rates in my top 10 for breakfast, great tasting , awesome service and now on my list as the normal place for me to eat breakfast , the hotel's breakfast really sucks and I'm having to source a better meal .. found one in Erie and will be back .. thanks for making this guy happy and welcomed
Just leaving town and stopped by because it was right on our way. So glad we did! The prices were great and the food was delicious. All of the staff were friendly and explained what "Greek Sauce" was. Never heard of it before but it was awesome on and in an omelette. The kids loved all the signs in the wall. Thanks!
Food was good. 2eggs,bacon,potatoes,toast. Wife's. I had the corned beef hash,eggs,toast, Little slow but it was busy,Clean cute diner With plenty of parking. Will definitely return
I have been here three times now and it is my must go to breakfast spot whenever I am visiting Erie! Everything is amazing from the breakfast sandwich to the Greek burgers and fries! An order of them even made it all the way home to Lancaster,PA. Staff is friendly and helpful and the ambiance just makes you feel like your in the "Cheese" of breakfast places. Side note the biscuits and gravy took me back to the south

Great breakfast place. Had the east side breakfast plate that comes with sausage, bacon, eggs, hash browns or home fries and toast. I got the hash browns, held the toast, ordered scrambled eggs. My mom had thr same and got medium over easy and Italian toast. She liked hers as well. The sausage was outstanding and I am not a sausage person. Get the sausage!!
